SBS always wants to contribute to social causes and support good work being done in the world. We as a team believe in one such reason, Pingalwara, a charitable institute that provides shelter to homeless people and helps them with their rehabilitation.
A tiny step has been taken today in ensuring the well-being of others. Pingalwara Charitable institute is the only facility in India that provides free medical aid to the poor, handicapped, and mentally challenged children. They have a large inventory of wheelchairs that could be put to good use.
SBS supported Pingalwara charitable institutes by donating wheelchairs. Pingalwara is home to the poor, orphaned, and needy children. There are around 1804 patients in the institute, with staff members looking after them.
They have been working for several years to change the lives of these children. Pingalwara has played a vital role in shaping the destinies of thousands of people who have been marginalized by society.
Pingalwara aims to help these individuals regain the ability to walk and get back into society and provide them with a support structure to live independently after rehabilitation and integrate back into the community as productive citizens.
They also commit themselves to help women, survivors of domestic abuse, often from husbands who have used domestic violence. It also offers them counseling services. The institute is run by noble people who work with a missionary zeal to help the differently-abled live their lives with dignity and self-respect.
We appreciate the excellent job for society and decided to support their noble cause by donating wheelchairs to Pingalwara in one of our CSR activities. We want to give back as much as possible to help these kids lead better lives and fulfill their dreams.
We also wish them all the best for their future endeavors and hope that they continue to serve humanity selflessly.
